Grassy southwest-facing bank, full sun, with Malus, Dactylis, Festuca arundinacea, Artemisia vulgaris, Rubus armeniacus. Adventive arching shrub 1 meter tall, leaves flat or faintly bulging between veins, some faintly bulging between veins, some faintly glaucous, 21-70x9-31 millimeters; 5-19 fruits per infructescence; fruit red, shiny, top flat, subglobose to broadly obovate, 7-9x7-9 millimeters; 2-3(4) seeds per fruit; (within 25 meters of cultivated individuals, seed source for the escaped plant).
