Idaho: Valley County: Mount Eldridge, Payette National Forest, on the border of McCall and Krassel Ranger Districts. Five air mi W and 2 air mi N of Edwardsburg, Idaho. Six mi W from Edwardsburg on FS Rd 340. Then 1 mi S along ridge leading to Mount Eldridge. Collected along NW ridge of Mount Eldridge, from 8900 ft. to 9207 ft (summit).¶ Elev. 8900-9207 ft.

Metamorphic granite scree fields and bouldery E-W running ridge. Slope: 5-45%. ¶S aspect dominated by Abies lasiocarpa, Pinus albicaulis, Luzula hitchcockii, and Poa sp.¶N aspect dominated by Juncus sp., Phlox sp., and Eriogonum sp. Glandular. Smells skunky. Phenology: Flowers and Fruits.
