Collection Extant: In close vicinity of trail; from bridge crossing Pioneer Creek to about 0.75 mi upstream. As the trail meanders coincidentally with stream, the soil is a moist loam and vegetation is dense; with trail departing from water's edge the soil becomes a gravelly loam and the vegetative cover ceases. Area heavily burned by 2006 fire; snag remnants, both fallen and standing, prevalent. Aspect east. Associates: Physocarpus malvaceus, Sambucus nigra ssp. cerulea, Amelanchier alnifolia. Rare. "Bilobed speedwell". Phenology: Flowers and Fruits.
