Oregon: Jackson County: S of Colestin near Cottonwood Creek.
History: Colestin, Jackson Co., was named for Rufus Cole in 1885, the one who then owned the nearby springs. Cite: McArthur 1965. Today this area is known as the Colestin Valley - hence the name change. F.C. 2013 Phenology: flowering.
