Fine, granitic scree along uphill shoulder of gravel road, below open slope with Balsamorhiza sagittata, Holodiscus discolor, and bunchgrasses. Corolla ca 8 mm wide, dark purple; leaves unlobed, blade purple-tinged beneath; small annuals 4-10 cm tall, scattered in scree. Phenology: Flowers.
