Steep, west-facing slope of limestone, thinly covered with loam, steppe with Pseudoroegneria spicata, Rosa, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Achillea, Hypericum, Erysimum, Amelanchier alnifolia, Balsamorhiza sagittata, Phlox colubrina.
