Lakeshore, in finely gritty white sand at raised moist margin of dense Deschampsia cespitosa, Phalaris arundinacea, Carex athrostachya and Eleocharis palustris green sward. Growng with Gratiola neglecta, Isoetes howellii, Deschampsia cespitosa, Juncus alpinoarticulatus, Carex athrostachya, Artemisia borealis. 80 x 3 m strip; 500+ plants estimate; not seen elsewhere in area; area to the north is slated for subdivisions with beach access.
