Ring around seasonal pond, which is about 1/2 acre at its largest extent, dry now, with peaty substrate. Associated spp.; at center of pond, Isoetes howellii, next ring, Carex vesicaria, (third ring, C. Saxatilis), others: Aster foliaceus var. apricus, Botrychium multifidum, Veronica americana, V. scutellata, V. serpyllifolia, Rorippa curvisiliqua, Epilobium glandulosum, Carex arcta, Salix sitchensis, Potentilla norvegica.
