South-facing basalt escarpment with seasonal stream and stabilized talus field at base of escarpment. Rubus parviflorus common throughout talus field and Polypodium sp. common in rock crevices; Sedum oreganum common throughout area. Low shrubs at forest edge; stems decumbent. Phenology: Vegetative.
