Soil dump in large landfill clearing west of Burnaby Lake. Sandy piles by boulder dump. Growing with other cultivated species: squash, tomato, cantaloupe, and weeds, Portulaca oleracea, Amaranthus, etc. A few plants; new shoots long hairy, unripe fruit oval; soft hairy; watermelon.
