Forest of Abies grandis below, A. lasiocarpa above, limestone substrate. Steep forested slopes, talus and flat summit plateau.¶ Steep limestone scree. Plants succulent, extremely viscid, from succulent ropy rhizomes. Stems and rhizomes very elastic, adapted to constantly down-shifting scree rocks. Ex Herb. COLO. Phenology: Flowers.
