Idaho: Butte County: Southwestern portion of site, northeast end of lava flow, ca 0.7 mi s of HW 26 on Taber Road, on lava. Elev. 4930 ft.

Slope 10%, aspect NE, soil almost nonexistant in cracks of lava.¶Open microsite within Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus community, with Lappula redowskii, Mimulus suksdorfii, Langloisia setosissima, Oenothera minor. Plants scattered, ca 30 individuals in 25 ft. sq., most in rosette stage only; flowers yellow; fruits somewhat obcompressed, slightly inflated emarginat at tip. Phenology: Flowers.
