Compacted gravel of wide spot on road shoulder; full sun; with sparse cover of Crassula tillaea, Spergularia rubra, Poa annua. Silicle ovate-orbicular, notch V-shaped, valves smooth when fresh, becoming reticulate-veined upon drying; sepals persistent; small annual, stems prostrate from trampling, local and weedy on road shoulder.
