Slope: 0-5%, Aspect: 90-180, Soil: deep, fine-textured.¶121 plants (104 rosettes) on June 8th, mostly at edges of playettes in large playa complex in old drill seeding. 100m x 1000, occupied area, with Collema, Tortulla, Aspicillia, algal/fungal soil crust, Agropyron intermedium, Poa sandbergii, Sitanion hystrix, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis. Only ca. 27 plants present on collection date, including all 17 adults seen earlier. Flowers white.
