On fine eroding mudstone gravels and bedrock on exposed alpine saddle, 5% vegetation cover, ESE aspect 10-30° slope, associated with Silene acaulis, Solidago multiradiata, Artemisia arctica, Geum rossii, Salix arctica, Carex microchaeta, and Sibbaldia procumbens. 200 individuals. University of Alaska Museum ALA accession V156310. Revised as stems are pubescent proximally, petals >6 mm long, fruits >2 mm wide. Rare. Previously identified as Arabis lemmonii. Previously identified by Rob Lipkin. 2 duplicates (ALA; Sb).
