Base of limestone talus slope along N side of stream; With Artemisia tridentata ssp. vaseyana, Agropyron spicatum, Potentilla fruticosa, Poa secunda, Leucopoa kingii, Leymus sp., Festuca idahoensis, and some Iris missouriensis (at very toe of slope). Tall, slender perennial from branched caudex atop deep taproot; Flowers light blue with very pale yellows eyes. Phenology: Flowers and Fruits.
