Montana: Lewis and Clark County: Helena, small limestone bluff just south of town. Best access via Clancy Street. Elev. 4343 ft.

Limestone prairie. Plants collected mostly at top edge of bluff right at the crest of north facing slope. Common plants include Phlox albomarginata, Penstemon eriantherus, Eritrichum howardii, Allium textile, Erigeron compositus, Packera cana, Tetraneuris acaulis, Physaria spatulata, and, Cerastium arvense. Small Pinus ponderosa, Pseudotsuga menziesii, and Pinus flexius trees present, mostly on north slope. Flowers blue, cushion forming plant. Plants mainly hanging out just below crest of hill on north side of bluff. Phenology: Flowers.
