South-facing 45° slope, loose fine talus of volcanic scree, <5% vegetated. Dominated by Phlox richardsonii and Salix arctica. . W.J. Cody has called this S. a. ssp. y. Was originally identified as S. viscida ssp. yukonensis by B.A. Bennett, Revised to S. a. viscida based on the FNA treatment August 2008. Plants viscid glandular throughout. Uncommon. 3 duplicates (DAO; ALA).
