Washington: Yakima County: [locality and coordinates withheld; status in Washington: G2/S2 (Threatened; WANHP)],
Rocky, shallow soil. Associated plants: Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus naseosus, Agropyron cristatum, Setaria viridis, Salsola kali, Artemisia rigida. Growing on rocky base of interpretive display overlooking [name removed] canyon. Leaf tissue was collected from this specimen for DNA extraction, by Joseph Kleinkopf of the UNM Herbarium, for a study on species relationships in Erigeron (Asteraceae: Astereae). July 2, 2024.
