Plants rare growing in a thin veneer of decomposed Columbia River Basalts and associa[tion] with Fritillaria pudica and Erythronium grandiflorum. This is the first report of the species in Oregon however there is also a population directly north of this site in Washington State. Note the toothed margins on the leaves, incurved petal tips.
