Oregon: Douglas County: Siuslaw National Forest: Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA: One mile south of Deer Head Point. Took 2 hrs, 10 mins to hike and find plot center. Keep to ridge. You'll come to a group of tagged trees (CVS #s). Keep going down ridge, look for flagging and orange flashers off cut side of ridge. Elev. 833 ft.

Cryptogams: Eurynchium oreganum; 5% cover of Acer macrophyllum, Rhododendron macrophyllum, Holodiscus discolor, Vaccinium parvifolium, Rubus parviflorum, Rhamnus purshianus, Rubus ursinus, Trientalis latifolia, Oxalis oregana, Pteridium aquilinum. Cryptogams: Claopodium crispifolium, Leptogium palmatum, Rhytidiadelphus triquetrus, Cladonia furcata, Buckiella undulata. Abundance code: 3; foveolate but also branchy and flattened.
