Washington: Skamania County: Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt. Adams Ranger District. Upper White Salmon River, Upper White Unit 300378 (PB37). Elev. 3724 ft.
UTM Zone 10, 606215E, 5112882N; T8N R9E WM, Sec. PB37.
Found on rock outcrops on small knoll, mostly with full light exposure. Very few trees and shrubs. Also few forbs. Rocks mostly have bryophyte cover. +/- canopy cover throughout most of site. ¶Outcrops, talus slopes, cliff faces of varying exposures and aspects. Parts are somewhat forested by conifers such as ABGR and PSME, while others are dominated by POTRS or have no canopy or tree cover whatsoever. Few shrubs and forbs. ¶Aspect: variable. Slope: variable. Light: full sun. Topography: Ridge. Substrate: Found mostly on stable rock faces of varying aspects. Thalli are found on rocks that are mostly in partial shade, tough thalli are also found in full shade and full exposure. Substrate: saxicolous.
