Habitat: Mature coniferous forest dominated by PSME, THPL, ABGR, with lesser TSHE and a light shrub layer. Canopy cover is ~75% but the site has high ambient light due to its location next to a cut stand to the south. Generally should be a mesic site, but the adjacent cut likey reduces site moisture.¶Substrate: Found on the trunk of one of the largest Abies amabilis in the unit. ¶Aspect: 90 [degrees].¶Slope: 22%.
