Coniferous forest with red huckleberry, salal, cedar, alder, and Douglas fir. Substrate: small branches of cottonwood tree. Apothecia 0.57 millimeter; spores brown, 1 septate, 15 x 5 micrometers, 12 x 5 micrometers, 16 x 5 micrometers; asci 59 and 60 micrometers. Substrate: corticolous. Phenology: apothecia.
