This stand was clearcut about 40 years ago, thinned and burned. The dominant tree is PSME with TSHE seedlings. Heavy vine maple with some huckleberry, bracken fern and oregon grape and trailing rose. The herb layer is moderate with vanilla leaf and canadian dogwood. Lichens are heavy on fine branches, mostly Hypogymnias, Cetraria, Platismatia, Alectoria, Bryoria and Usnea. Stable soil with nice organic layer. Slope 10%. Aspect 225°.
