Coming south on USFS 2207 from 2208, 2206, 2207 junction, pass first spur (to SE to old rock quarry), site entry (subsite 2) to southwest just before next junction (spur to a ridge to east). Elev. 2332 ft.

Aspect 90, slope 20, partially shaded, mesic, two multilayered old growth ABAM/TSHE forest, understory dominated by Vaccinium alakaense, exposed to fairly closed OG fragment bordered by clearcuts on several sides with a lot of older blowdown. Abies amabilis, corticate twig. [Filed with WTU-B-41987]. Substrate: corticolous.
