Mostly hemlock on lava hummocks moderate/light dead/down with openings. Heavy needle duff and forest floor clear of shrubs except in openings. Snow scour to ~ 8' - many of fresher down trees had lichens too decomposed to collect. Some spp. of lichens such as Cetpla, Cetmer, Hypogymnias maybe under estimated for abundance - too much on the ground and couldn't tell from looking up at the trees. Slope 8%. Aspect 353°.
