Old growth stand of ABMAS and PIPO with some ABCO but limited to understory. Stand has been thinned and is open. Two major skid roads run through the plot. There are several large diameter ABMAS and PIPO (40-50" dbh) on plot. Below these trees, scattered in the stand are small diameter (8-14") ABMAS and ABCO. Understory is sparse with a lot of bare ground. Dominant shrubs are greenleaf and pinemat manzanita. Carex pensylvanica is widespread on plot. Slope 13%. Aspect 42°. Abundance code: 3.
