Idaho: Blaine County: Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve 18 miles SW of Arco, Hwy 20/26.¶Little Wood River, Snake River Watershed.¶Location: Carey Kipuka. Approximately 20 km E of Carey. Access though Carey Kimimah Desert Road. At (Piss) Ant Butte, turn north to Carey Kipuka Trail Access (appr. 7 km). Elev. 1582 m.

Ass. sp.: Riccia sp. L.¶Substrate: Fully exposed mesic loamy soil.¶Habitat: Collections from sagebrush steppe communities in kipuka, and from lava rock along access trail and kipuka perimeter. Lava fields with some Phlox but largely non vegetated. Kipuka domiated by Artemisia tridentatata and native grasses. Phenology: Unknown.
