Even aged stand almost entirely PSME approx. 50 year old. Terrain was fairly flat, sloping slightly to the E. toward Swan Cr. A trail crossed the southern portion of plot. There were some areas with COCOC & Oak. Ground cover was dense with POMU & GASH dominant. There was also a lot of moss on the ground. Soils were stable, thick layer of org. matter, and not well drained. Typical yound PSME stand. Lichen diversity provided by a small stand of hardwoods. Slope 8%. Aspect 60°. Abundance code: 4. Substrate: PSME br.
