Washington: Snohomish County: Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. North Fork Skykomish River Forest Service road 63 area. From highway 2, take the Index-galena road. Close to a pull out area. Old trail road side and river side.

Coniferous forest/hardwood with salmonberry, hemlock, alder, and deer fern. Moss covered soil. Substrate: bark and bare wood of hemlock tree. Apothecia .6 millimeter, stalk white at base, orange at top of stalk, head has orange streaks, spores weak 1 septate ellipsoid 7 to 9, did not get a ascus. See EB # L4612 (same tree).
