This plot was cut about 25 years ago, burned and replanted with PSME and ABPR. Thick TSHE and THPL and ACCI understory. Shrubs are thick including VAPA, OPHO, VAME, BENE and GASH. Herbs consist mostly of POMU and ACTR. This stand was thinned about 7 years ago. Downed wood is heavy. Slope is steep, unstable, rocky and mossy. Mostly Hypogymnias, Plagla and a few Cetrarias were found. A fair amount of Bryoria was present. Overall, lichens weren't very diverse. Most lichens were small in size due to the young trees.
