OG stand of mixed age PSME (dom) & TSHE (codom) including some giants > 50" dbh. Tree spacing is wide, stand is very brushy & steep. Slope 50%. Aspect 280°. Abundance code: 3; 2011 Misc. Unknown. HERBARIUM T&E. Cortical rxn to P (away from soralia) very strong. Pale sorediate thallus. ID date: Oct 2011; Very high biomass of lg individuals of lichens dom by Sphtuc, Hypogym spp, Usnea & ALSA. No cyanolichens, no nitrophytes. Many hardwood small trees & shrubs but flora is nearly same as conifers. Spot Tests: sor:K-, C- Cortex: P+R strong.
