Montana: Missoula County: 1 mile north of Evaro.
In grassy, dryish meadow, with many grasses, Wyethia, etc. Plants with more fibrous roots in the drier areas, tending to be more tuberous in the moister, heavier soil, the roots fairly firmly attached to the stems; stems mostly spreading-glandular-pubescent; sepals deep blue to nearly purple, spreading-reflexed; lower petals similar in color, very shallowly lobed; upper petals nearly white, deep bluish-veined. Phenology: Flowers.
