Plentiful along runnels from hot spring and in cracks of flumes carrying hot water to bathing pool. Not seen elsewhere. The country around is unsettled and no record of introduced. Owner of Springs Hotel and camp states it was here when he came. Was recorded in the 3rd Annual Report (1915) of the provincial botanist (John Davidson). Specimens sent by Miss A.B. MacKenzie. Herbarium, Vancouver Office, B.C. Dept. of Agriculture, accession # 9080. Distribution recorded. Refer to UBC Herbarium accession # 4164, 4165, and 4166. RED listed G5 S1.
