Rolling hills; canyon range in the SE; mountain range from SE to S; cliff/hill face in the W; open, rolling hills in the N, overstory is Wyoming sage and green rabbitbrush, dominate grasses are bluebunch wheatgrass, Sandberg bluegrass, squirreltail, Idaho fescue; cheat grass present and over taking in some areas, soil is silty, rocky with small pebbles to large rocks. Bunchgrass with bright green, tall leaves, red-clasping auricles and purple to red nodes; leaf blades are narrow, not much wider than the culm, abundant.
