Shallow, grassy ditch; dry in summer. About 30 plants in drying ditch; lemmas 5-6 mm long; anthers 1.5-2.0 mm; rachilla joints stout and rather straight; paleas mostly > lemmas. Hardly distinct from the native G. occidentalis, but best fits this species according to Vascular Plants of the Pacific Northwest. Annotation: Glyceria fluitans Poaceae: Meliceaeby Mary E.
