Flat brushy disturbed prairie greater than 120 acres; nearly treeless but very brushy; dominated by Cytisus scoparius, arrhenatherrum elatius and in some areas where plants are low, Festuca idahoensis. Also present: Balsamorrhiza deltoides, Viola, Danthonia californica, Erigeron, Aster curtis, Prunella vulgaris, False Dandelion, a few Craetegus, Carex inops, Willow Flycatcher, Common Yellowthroat, Northwest Ringlet Butterfly. . Voucher for allozyme study, lane A9. Phenology: Fertile.
