Oregon: Klamath County: Cascade Range; along W side of OR 140 ca. 2.4 mi S of Bly Mtn. Pass (near mile 29 marker), ca 23.5 mi NE of Klamath Falls. Elev. 4700 ft.
On basaltic sagebrush flat with scattered junipers. Gray-black soil, pH ca 6.7. Locally common. Corollas pale blue with blue lobes, some pink to red-violet with darker lobes, paler to +/- white within throat abaxially; mature anthers tan, some violet on adaxial side; nectar sweetly fragrant; mature style exserted for 2-3mm. Phenology: Flowers.
