Idaho: Butte County: Hawley Mountain, NNW ridge. Follow ridge from turnout from Pass Creek Road where it crosses Wet Creek and follow ridge to high knoll just below treeline. Site 2. Midway up ridge. Snow basin on E side of ridge. Elev. 7000 ft.

Top of ridge and W rocky with sparse vegetation. Snow basin below ridge to E with lusher, greener vegetation. Leaf blades pubescent, obovate at the base & somewhat revolute; thyrse glandular-pubescent; corolla tubular-funnelform, blue, anther cells dehising full length. Phenology: Flowers.
