(1.9 mi. from Hwy 36), go W on N Canyon Rd. past Mill Hollow Rd. At 4.7 mi. from Hwy 36 turn N at Meadow Creek (FR 425). At intersection of FR 425 (Eightmile Creek Rd.) and Skinner Canyon Rd. (FR 403) follow Skinner Canyon Rd. ca. 1.8 mi. to pass on Sherman Peak ridge. Site SP#5. Elev. 2730 m.
