Plant: 3° to 5°, Erect, Herb, glabrous.¶Stem: Exogen., tubular watery. ¶Branches: alternate, normal. ¶Leaves: cauline, alternate, bi- or Tri-fascicled, 2[illegible] ovate, oval, Entire, murcinate, glabrous, Pede.-1/2 Lucy.¶Inflorescence: Terminal raceme, Bracts as lus. Pede. - terete.¶Flower: perfect, [illegible], irregular, ---¶Calyx: very small, [illegible].¶Sepals: 2, scute like. ¶Corolla: Imbricate, Polypetalous, labriate.¶Petals: 4, 2-pairs outer upper spurred, bottom fringed.¶Stamen: 10, diadelphous.¶Filaments: -- filiform.¶Pistils: 1 simple.¶Ovary: Enclosed, one cell.¶Style: [illegible]¶Stigma: flat fringed.¶Fruit: pod and cell obovate, curved, style persistent.¶Remarks: two inner Pets. enclose stamens & style and form a purple b[illegible]d.
