Adventive three places in wind-pruned coastal scrub on sea bluffs, with Garrya, Rubus parviflorus, R. armeniacus, full sun. Small shrubs, flowers dangle, red and purple, 39-43 millimeters long; fruit dangles, reddish-black, oblong to quadrangular, 18 x 7 millimeters.
