Shaded margin of gravel path with Hedera hibernica, Rubus spectabilis, Prunus avium, under mixed forest. Petals 8-9 mm, light pink, notched; stigma 4-lobed, lobes spreading at anthesis; stems evenly puberulent with ascending to incurved hairs, with a few gland-tipped hairs above; leaves ovate, serrate, nearly sessile or with petiole to 3 mm; some stem bases forming turion-like offshoots; plants scattered under trees along sides of path, weedy.
