Oregon: Josephine County: Flower garden east of Bolan Peak, Siskiyou Forest Elev. 6200 ft.
Gentle SE slope. Loose sandy granite loam, medium moisture. 6-Wd. 4/10 density. Moderately grazed. with 1139, 1140, 1142 [Ingram's collection numbers]. Dense Grand fir and White fir shade. Common in this locality. Not observed to be grazed. In full bloom date collected. FS# OGB 12/11/40 comments "Identification authority W. O. letter - 6/29/37. RR. R-6 Plant Identification" W. O. probably stands for Washington Office of the USFS Phenology: flowering.
