Moist shallow boggy ditch next to cedar-spruce forest. Growing with Hypericum anagalloides, Gentiana sceptrum, Blechnum spicant. Densely clumped perennial with compact aggregation of basal leaves lying low to the ground forming a circular tuft; well established; 66 plants counted over a 200 m stretch; one plant seen on the opposite north side ditch; native to Europe; first collection from BC.
