Brushy slope in light shade beneath Pseudotsuga menziesii on road edge, with some old planted shrubs but now unkept and overgrown. Leaves to 5 dm; leaflets lanceolate, to 15 x 5 cm, lightly pubescent beneath with spreading gland-tipped and non-glandular hairs; terminal leaflet smallest; two saplings, one ca 3 meters tall, with spreading branches from near base, the other ca 3 meters tall; adventive on edge of overgrown bank with Hedera and Cotoneaster, likely animal-disseminated; no mature trees seen nearby. Phenology: Vegetative.
