NW slope; dry gravelly clay loam; type: 5 Br. 9/10 density, area not grazed; full sunlight; with Pasania densiflora, Quercus chrysolepis, Castanopsis chrysophylla, Ribes (1133), twinberry (1134) occasional in this type at high altitude; not observed to be grazed; immature fruit date collected; perhaps G. buxifolia? rather low spreading shrub 3' tall. ¶FS #35,124. Phenology: fruits.
