On loamy, north-facing, mesic slope (20 degree slope) on substrate of metasedimentary rocks dominated by Artemisia tridentata ssp. vaseyana; in the steep north-facing understory of the Douglas fir forest. Leaflets up to 10 per leaf, terminal leaflet jointed; stipules connate; flowers up to 12, banner 12-14mm long, keel ~ 10mm long, stipe ~ 3.5mm, 13-14 ovules. Phenology: Flowers & Fruits.
