Dry northwest facing slope, open conifer forest, brushy and herbaceous understory. With Pseudotsuga, Acer macrophyllum, Acer glabrum, Rubus parviflorus. Petals white. Uncommon. Forming patches under shrubs. Phenology: Flowers.
